POLICY REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Elko.by pays special attention to the protection of personal data during their processing in our organization and respects the observance of the rights of personal data subjects. 
The approval of the Regulations on the policy regarding the processing of personal data (hereinafter referred to as the Policy) is one of the measures taken by Elko.by to protect personal data, provided for in Article 17 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus dated May 7, 2021 No. 99 Z “On the Protection of Personal Data” (hereinafter - Law).
The policy explains to personal data subjects how and for what purposes their personal data is collected, used or otherwise processed, and also reflects the rights of personal data subjects in connection with this and the mechanisms for their implementation.

 

Elko.by processes only those personal data that are necessary to fulfill the stated purposes and does not allow their excessive processing. 
Elko.by does not transfer personal data to third parties, except in cases provided for by legislative acts.

 

THE SUBJECT OF PERSONAL DATA HAS THE RIGHT:
 

  • to withdraw their consent, if for the processing of personal data Elko.by applied to the subject of personal data for obtaining consent. In this regard, the right to withdraw consent cannot be exercised if the processing is carried out on the basis of a contract or in accordance with the requirements of the law;

  • to receive information regarding the processing of their personal data by Elko.by, containing:

  1. location of Elko.by;

  2. confirmation of the fact of processing the personal data of the applicantElko.by;

  3. his personal data and the source of their receipt;

  4. legal grounds and purposes of personal data processing;

  5. the period for which his consent was given (if the processing of personal data is carried out on the basis of consent);

  6. name and location of the authorized person (authorized persons);

  7. other information provided by law;

  • require Elko.by to amend their personal data if the personal data is incomplete, outdated or inaccurate. For these purposes, the subject of personal data attaches the relevant documents and (or) duly certified copies confirming the need to make changes to personal data;

 

  • to receive from Elko.by information about the provision of their personal data processed by Elko.by to third parties. Such a right can be exercised once a calendar year, and the provision of relevant information is free of charge;

  • demand from Elko.by free termination of the processing of their personal data, including their deletion, in the absence of grounds for the processing of personal data provided for by the Law and other legislative acts;

  • appeal against the actions (inaction) and decisions of Elko.by that violate its rights in the processing of personal data to the National Center for Personal Data Protection.

 

To exercise your rightsrelated to the processing of personal data by Elko.by, the subject of personal data submits to Elko.by an application in writing or in the form of an electronic document (and in the case of exercising the right to withdraw consent, also in the form in which such consent was received), respectively postal or Internet address. Elko.by does not consider applications of personal data subjects sent by other means (telephone, fax, etc.).
